Notification of Haywoods Way Planning Appeal
A date has been set for the above planning appeal to be heard at:
10.00am on the 7th of November 2023
at Wychavon District Council offices in Pershore.
This is an important appeal hearing for the village because the original application, that was refused, proposed to extend the current number of plots to fill the whole field. This would more than
double the number of caravans on the site in Haywards Way. It is important that as many residents attend the hearing as possible. This can have an influence on
the planning inspector to show the concerns and feelings of the village residents regarding this planning appeal.

The Future of the Kings Arms
On the evening of 11th October 35 members of the community attended the meeting to discuss the potential community purchase of the
pub. A vote was held to ascertain how many of these members supported a project to preserve the Kings Arms as a pub/restaurant in Cleeve Prior. The gathering was unanimous in its wish to retain the
pub.
It was agreed that a project team be formed to address the issue. Seven volunteers stepped forward to form a working group with support from the community.
